TESTWORKS

This post is information heavy, so if you`re confused about anything, please feel free to contact us :)

Firstly, we would like the coorperation of Guides from EVERY level to bring their TESTCARDS on 4 January 2010, Monday. We will not be able to get your testcards signed if you do not bring them so pleaseeee remember to bring them and take the initiative to pass it to us. We should not be chasing you all. In case you don`t know where to locate us, Qing Wen and Janice is in 4/5, Shi Yun in 4/9 and Jie Shi in 4/3 :) Please inform us if you`ve misplaced your testcards.

Secondly, there will be testworks on Monday, 4th January 2010 and Tuesday, 5 January 2010 for all Sec 4s (2010 batch) on Point 5: International, module 1.1 and 1.2. Please refer to Guides handbook page 231 - 233 for that. The second test is on Point 5: International, module 3.2 and 3.3. Please refer to Guides handbook page 244 - 250.
It will be held at 2.30, outside Guides Den :) You can choose to take both test tgt or one on each day :)
Please TURN UP on either days (which we suggest Monday as retests can still be taken on Tuesday) and if you are unable to make it with VALID reasons, please inform us latest by tonight, 11pm.

Thirdly, there will be retests for all levels for Point Two: Home, module 3.1 and 3.2. This test is taken during the holidays and if you did not attend the test, please come for the retest too. The list of people who failed will be posted shortly :)
There will also be retests for Point 4: Community, module 2.1 and 2.3. The list of passes is up on the blog already, so please check the archives. If you don`t know what test this is, its the one on First Aid and Emergency Calls :)
Please turn up for the retests on Monday (o4/o1) OR Tuesday (05/01) at 2.30 outside Guides Den.

Fourthly, there will be Guides Session this coming Friday, 8 January. All I/Cs please ensure that your committee is on task as CCA promo will be on 16 January and there isn`t much time left.

4pm to 4.30pm: Wrap up/ Clear up
4.30pm to 4.35pm: Change
4.35pm to 4.50pm: Colours Down
4.50pm to 5pm: Taps

Attire: Full Guides Uniform
Bring: PE tee and black slacks
Bread and water for Patrol Time.

* All ICs/ AICs, please call up/text all your members and inform them regarding this session. All absences must be accounted for with VALID reasons are MC/Overseas. Parents letter is NOT accepted. This session is COMPULSORY for all INCLUDING SEC 3s.

SEC 4 FAREWELL 2009 :)))

- no bikini, spaghetti straps, or tank tops.

Venue: Aranda Country Club (chalet)
Date: 15th December 2009
Day: Tuesday
Time: 4.30pm to 10pm, 15th Dec
Meeting time: 4.30pm sharp
Meeting venue: Pasir Ris MRT Control Station
*One of us will go down to the MRT station to pick all of you up, hence do not be late, or you gotta find your own way there!

Our chalet unit no. is 2226, and is at Level 3.
All guides do not need to bring any food or drinks, as we the sec threes will be buying.

Basic Programme for the Farewell:

5.30pm onwards: arrival of Sec 4s!
5.30pm to 7pm: Games
7pm to 9pm: BBQ at Level 1
9pm to 10pm: Performances & items for the Sec 4s from the juniors.

1) HIKE

Venue: Hort Park
Time: 9am to 1pm
Date: 11th Dec 2009 (Friday)
Meeting venue and dismissal venue (same): Habourfront MRT control station
Meeting time: 9am sharp
Attire: PE t-shirt and slacks

All combined patrols are to bring their own food & drinks/water for the hike, e.g. chips, sandwiches, cookies, packet drinks etc. Please bring an umbrella/poncho in case it rains. For safety purpose, either a Ma'am or Ms Aliah will be accompanying us along on this hike. Please bring minimal things, unless you want to carry a big heavy backpack for the hike.
You all are allowed to wear sports shoes :)

2) ANNUAL GUIDES CAMP

Hey, the tkgs guides camp confirmed dates will be 22nd and 23rd Dec 2009, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Each day will most probably start at 7am or 8 am, and end at 6pm. It is a non-residential camp.

Please make the neccessary arrangements to your vacation schedules for this camp, as it is compulsory for all guides - Sec 2s, 3s and 4s of year 2010.
More concised details will be given soon!
